Lena Burandt // Art Historian
I was born in Hannover (Germany) in 1991 and stayed there during my graduation and my first studies ‘photojournalism and documentary photography’ at the university of applied sciences and arts. In 2014, I moved to Dresden, with the desire to deepen my theoretical knowledge about art. This is what I am doing now in my study of philosophy and art history. To give guides at the Ostrale is for me particularly exciting and fulfilling. So I can share my enthusiasm for art with others and learn for myself always something new.
Marion Neumann // Museumspedagogue
As a native of Dresden, and formerly a long-term museum pedagogue at the Deutsche Hygiene-Museum in Dresden, it is both a matter of course and an obligation for me to pass on my experiences as an expert in the field of educational offers at the Ostrale. In 2015 I took over the art project “This is our world” within the framework of the BKJ program “Künste öffnen Welten” of the Federal Association for Cultural Education and Youth Education (BKJ). I am concerned about the “Atelier of Things”.
